Co-President - Jonathan Chen ‘26
Hey there! My name's Jonathan. I usually say I'm from Houston, Texas, but I've also lived in Pennsylvania, California, and Western Australia. Now, I live in Cabot House and am a proud quad-apologist -- even after spending two summers living by the river. I study Chemical and Physical Biology (CPB) + Statistics, and can often be found at my research lab. In my free time, I love running, hiking, knitting, doing puzzles, and unintentionally spending hours chatting at the HUFA office! HUFA has been a huge part of my life these past few years, and I'm incredibly grateful for the mentorship and friendships here that have pushed me deeper in my faith. Can't wait to see you this year!

Hi! I'm Tara, and I am from San Antonio, Texas. I am a senior in Leverett house studying neuroscience. Outside of HUFA, I spend most of my spare time singing with University Choir and Harvard College Opera, as well as serving as a counselor at Camp Kesem. I got involved with HUFA as a freshman through the Bible studies and loved the community that I found here. I have learned more and more how to seek after the heart of Christ and emanate His love through the friendships and conversations facilitated through HUFA and hope to foster more Christ-centered conversations and friendships as co-president.

Hi hi! I’m McGowin, a senior in Currier house studying English. I grew up in Mobile, a small town on the gulf coast of Alabama, and I love warm weather, sunshine, and sandy beaches. At Harvard I do all things English related (I love my concentration!)— anything from taking creative writing workshops to reading a Brontë novel in the Barker center with a cozy cup of tea. I’m so excited to spend my last year at Harvard at HUFA VP!

Hi everyone! My name is Caleb, and I'm a junior in Quincy House studying economics and religion. Originally from Colorado Springs, I enjoy snowboarding, listening to country music, and reading about Biblical poetics. My eventual aspiration is to serve with an international humanitarian non-profit. HUFA has been a huge blessing to me, and I'm excited for what the next year holds!

Hi! I am McKenzie, a sophomore in Leverett House from Northeast Ohio, studying English. On campus, I serve as an Associate Magazine Editor for The Crimson's, Fifteen Minutes. Additionally, I am a Peer Advising Fellow for the first-year entryway Canaday G. In my free time, I enjoy taking long walks by the river, exploring Boston, and getting sweet treats with my friends. You will often see me ordering a coffee or reading Jane Austen in the big chairs at Lamont Library. I am looking forward to being an Events Team Leader with HUFA this year and contributing the Christian community that helped welcome me to Harvard.

Hi! My name is Justin and I am a sophomore at the college! I study government with a secondary in education. I am from a small town in Kentucky, Eddyville, and grew up on a cow farm! I serve on the outreach team at HUFA and love every second of talking to new people, bringing new people into the HUFA family, and sharing God with anyone who will listen. :)) In my free time I love to watch a good show, go on walks, and spend time with friends and family. Aloha! I'm Esther, a sophomore in Cabot House concentrating in Chemistry and Physics. Originally from Hawaii, I love running (highly recommend the Cambridge Half!), hiking, and playing card games with my two younger brothers. Although I'm a nerd about science, philosophical conversations are my absolute favorite. Come find me in a dhall—I'd love to chat! Hey! I'm Connor, a senior in Dunster House originally from LA studying Psychology! I first got involved with HUFA in my freshman year through the Bible courses and worship team, and I'm excited to continue serving for another year as worship MTL! In my spare time, I love playing/listening to music (I love John Mayer and Coldplay!), cooking, sports, and just messing around with my friends.
Worship - Emilia Leon ‘28
Hi! My name is Emilia Leon and I am an upcoming sophomore concentrating in Social Studies with a secondary in Middle Eastern Studies. I am from Hollywood, Florida (the beautiful sunshine state). I was raised in a Hispanic and Haitian Pentecostal church in the Assemblies of God denomination. In high school I served the Lord as the leader of a praise dance ministry called Overflow. Now the Lord has called me to be one of the worship leaders in HUFA and I can’t wait to see how the Lord manifests himself and speaks to us. Hello! My name is Priscilla George, a sophomore in Kirkland house. I was raised in Qatar and moved to New Jersey when I was 10. I'm concentrating in Integrative Biology with a secondary in Microbial Sciences. I love reading theology books, structuring my bujo, watching anime, binging Webtoons, learning Spanish, and being my younger sister's personal recipe taster—the best job ever!! HUFA has already been such a blessing to me, and I can't wait to see what God does this year!

Hello! My name is Frances, and I'm a sophomore from Lincoln, Mass. I'm in Kirkland, the closest house to the HUFA office! I'm studying the History of Art & Architecture, and I spend my free time in the performing arts–singing, dancing, and acting. I'm so grateful I found the HUFA community in my freshman year, and I'm excited to give back as an ABCL!
Freshman Girls - Karis Ka ‘28
Hey, I’m Karis! I am a sophomore in Quincy from Staten Island, NYC, studying whatever the Lord leads me to declare (I have no idea at any given time)! I spend most of my time singing in theater, ordering DoorDash, and being everywhere but the place I should be. I love dressing up and being dramatic, and I’m actively looking for people to practice my American Sign Language with (hit me up if you can sign)!! I am SO SO SO excited to be one of the ABCL’s for the freshman girls this year and to meet everyone EVER.

In my free time I like to go on nature walks, play guitar, weight lift, and play Fortnite with my roommates.
